How do you clean a smoothbore firearm?
Disassembling....

The first step is to apply Cuprum Remover FOAM.
We plug the barrel from one side with the patch. There is a convenient tube in the kit with the cylinder, which should be inserted to the middle of the barrel and carefully fill the barrel with foam by short presses.
The gas discharge tube is also filled with foam. Set the barrel aside for 15-20 minutes.

Proceed to cleaning the parts.
We take CarbonRemover, shake it well, apply it to the places where there are accumulations of fouling and leave it to sour for a couple of minutes. Then wipe off all dirt with a rag. Parts with minor contamination are wiped with a rag moistened with UniversalOil. Then we moisten the cloth with neutral oil and apply it in a thin layer to all parts.

We remove foam from the barrel and gas tube with a patch. Then we recommend cleaning the soaked dirt with UniversalOil. It can be applied directly into the barrel, then go through the barrel with a colander and remove the raised dirt with a patch. Repeat several times until the barrel is clean. Next, apply some neutral oil to the patch, go over the barrel and then go over with a clean patch to remove excess oil.

If there are old deposits of carbon deposits in the USM (in the corners, around the barrel in the breech block), you can carefully apply CarbonRemover there, let it sour for a couple of minutes and remove it with a rag or cotton swabs. If the dirt is insignificant - moisten a rag with universal oil and wipe all surfaces. Then apply a thin layer of neutral oil.

If it is necessary to put the weapon in long-term storage or if it is supposed to be used in conditions of high humidity, fog, salty air, it is better to use Protectiveoil instead of neutral oil. It will reliably protect the metal from corrosion in the most extreme conditions.
